Pieces of Rice County is a countywide public-art experience made up of eight unique murals—one in each Rice County town. Together, the murals form a colorful mosaic of local history, community pride, and the distinct character that makes every stop along the way worth exploring.

The mural trail grew from EPIC: Engaging Placemaking for Innovative Communities, a Rice County Economic Development initiative that brought local artists and residents together. Each work reflects the heritage, identity, and stories of its community, turning familiar walls into vibrant expressions of what makes Rice County feel like home.

Make your own self-guided mural tour through Alden, Bushton, Chase, Geneseo, Little River, Lyons, Raymond, and Sterling. Pause for photos, explore historic downtowns, visit local shops, and discover how every mural adds another piece to the bigger Rice County picture.
